An engine with a hydraulic ladder rack and an extendable floodlight with
four spotlights and some top side storage. This was an attempt at using the tall, extreme
slope pieces to add some shape to the rear of the engine.
A basic engine with a hydraulic ladder rack on one side and two hose reels with the
pump panel on the opposite side. This was also an attempt to see how the chrome grab
bars would look on the rear of the truck. There is also quite a bit of storage on the
top of this engine for things such as air tanks and extinguishers.
This is the engine from the cover page. The ladder rack is in the down position and
the spotlight is raised. The top mount storage compartment is also open.
A short wheelbase engine for use as quick attack engine. It also has enough
space for
ALS (advanced life support) gear so that it can be used as an EMT engine.
A large engine/pumper with many storage comapartments and two sets of ladders. This
unit was built to see how a four passenger cab would look. Squeezing two sets of minifigs
side by side made the cab on this unit higher than on the other trucks.
Another concept design with a raised roof cab and different locations of
some of the various equipment.
This is a low profile version concept so that it would fit in lower clearance areas
An earlier version of the above yellow engine.
